Revision Village EducatorPro School Licence Terms
Last updated: 28 Sept, 2026
These Terms apply when a school, college or other educational institution ("School", "you") purchases or is granted an EducatorPro licence from Revision Village Limited (New Zealand company number 9239100) ("Revision Village", "we", "us"). By signing an order form, paying an invoice, or activating a licence, you agree to these Terms.
What the licence covers
EducatorPro gives your named teachers access to Revision Village's IB Diploma content and teaching tools for the subjects, number of teacher seats, and period set out in your order form. Where your order includes student access (the Full Suite for Schools), your enrolled students in the covered subjects get RV Gold-level access for the same period.
The licence is for use within your School, for teaching and learning purposes. It is non-exclusive and non-transferable.
Teacher accounts
Each teacher seat is for one named teacher. Seats may be reassigned when staff change, but may not be shared.
Teachers may display and use Revision Village content in class, set it as homework, and include short extracts in their own teaching materials for use with their own students. Teachers may not upload our content to other platforms, redistribute it outside the School, or use it to create competing resources.
Student access
Where your licence includes student access, students join through an invitation or code you provide. Each student creates their own account and agrees to our Terms of Use. You are responsible for making sure students are eligible (enrolled at your School and at least 13 years old) and for obtaining any parental consent your jurisdiction requires for students under 16.
Teachers at your School can see the names, activity and progress of students linked to your licence. You are responsible for making sure this is used appropriately and only by staff who need it.
Student accounts remain the student's own. If a student leaves your School or your licence ends, the student keeps their account but loses the access your licence provided.
Fees and payment
Fees are set out in your order form and are payable within 30 days of invoice unless the order form says otherwise. Fees are exclusive of GST, VAT or sales tax, which will be added where applicable. If fees are unpaid 30 days after the due date, we may suspend access until they are paid.
Where we have agreed to provide EducatorPro free of charge or at a discount in exchange for the School promoting Revision Village to students or parents, the commitments on both sides are set out in the order form or a separate letter. If the School does not meet its commitments, we may convert the licence to standard pricing or end it on 30 days' notice.
Term and renewal
The licence runs for the period in your order form, usually one academic year. Unless the order form says otherwise, it renews for a further year at our then-current pricing unless either of us gives at least 30 days' notice before the renewal date. We will send you a renewal reminder at least 60 days before the renewal date.
Data protection
We process personal information about your teachers and students as described in our Privacy Policy. For information about students that you provide to us, or that we collect on your instructions (for example, through a school roster upload), we act as your processor and you remain responsible for it. Our Data Processing Addendum, available on request, sets out the terms on which we do so, including our security measures, sub-processors, and what happens when the licence ends.
For information students provide directly to us through their own accounts, we are the controller and our Privacy Policy applies.
We will not use student personal information for advertising, and we will not sell it.
Intellectual property
All Revision Village content and software remains our property or that of our licensors. The licence gives you the right to use it, not ownership. Revision Village is developed independently of the International Baccalaureate Organization, which does not endorse it.
What we promise
We will provide the Service with reasonable care and skill, aim for 99.5% monthly availability excluding planned maintenance, and provide support to your teachers by email on business days. We do not guarantee any particular student outcomes.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, neither of us is liable to the other for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability to you under this licence is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim arose. Nothing limits liability for fraud, or for anything that cannot be limited by law.
Ending the licence
Either of us may end the licence immediately if the other materially breaches these Terms and does not fix the breach within 30 days of being asked. We may also suspend access if we reasonably believe the Service is being misused. On ending, access stops and, if you ask within 30 days, we will provide an export of student progress data for your licence.
General
These Terms, your order form and the Data Processing Addendum are the whole agreement between us. If they conflict, the order form wins, then the Data Processing Addendum, then these Terms.
Neither of us may transfer this agreement without the other's consent, except that we may transfer it to a Crimson Education group company or a buyer of our business on notice to you. These Terms are governed by New Zealand law and the New Zealand courts have non-exclusive jurisdiction.
